Last week Sissy and I went to the zoo with our neighbors, and it was so beautiful outside and her and Austin had a great time!!!!!! I just took a few pictures, but as you can see Lydia had a great time!!!!

A couple weeks ago Lydia went to the dentist and while there the hygienist told Lydia she really should get rid of her nookie, and that if she brought them all in she could get a special prize, well Lydia did not want to listen to her at all. When she talked Lydia would turn her head and not listen. Then she talked to Nathan about a week later and he talked to her about her nookie and how she was getting too big. Her pacifier was something we didn't push her about or stress out about, she could use it at night and thats is all....then last week Lydia woke up and just said she was done, and I was like really? She woke up the fist couple mornings really wanting it, but after that she was good, and collected them all and said she was all done. So she got a special gift from mom and dad and then went to the dentist to turn in her "nookies" she is so proud of herself, and we are so proud of her. It was so easy to have her decide when she was done, and it was not a struggle. The ortho, and dentist just said to me before this that don't pressure her, just encourage her because we don't want her to form a new habit, and it worked!!!!!
We had a great visit with Pa, he came up with my parents and my Aunt Sandy and Uncle Dave also came, we had such a great time...We got to watch Isaac play soccer, we were suppose to watch Elijah but it was such a bummer his championship game was cancelled...but we still had a great time, and so glad that we were able to spend this time with Pa...Pa is missing a finger, he lost it many many years ago, and Lydia just couldn't believe it!!! She thought it was the weirdest thing ever!!!!
Uma and her babes...so glad they were here to see the kids, and help carve pumpkins...again it was so nice to have them here....it always goes by way too fast!!!!
