Ready for Nathan

On Sunday we made WELCOME HOME signs for Nathan. The Moores helped and the kids had a blast making them. The girls even got into the action, and for some reason Lydia stayed pretty clean but Dayleigh on the other hand got a little out of control!! Only 2 more days until Nathans return!!!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! Uma and Auntie Bree came down, and we were busy! Elijah went to Stones River National Cemetery with cub scouts to put flags near the headstones, that was really neat! Then we went shopping of course!!! Found some really nice treasures at Old Time Pottery!!!! We went to a Roller Skating Party, and that was alot more fun then I thought! I even got alittle crazy and put some skates on, but no I am not good!! Bless Elijah, he had a rough time with it, but I do think next time he will be better.....Then my mom made a her yummy chicken and noodles for dinner on Sunday and had the Moores over for dinner.....We had a great time, and its always sad to see them leave....

This might come as a surprise but I haven't really taken alot of pictures in the last couple of weeks. I have been busy wrapping up the end of the school year, running kids around, and working on teacher gifts! I can't believe that the school year is already ending!!! Both boys have had wonderful teachers and I am always sad when the school year is over with. So our June will be action packed, we have Nathan coming home on May 28th so we are busy busy busy~did I say busy yet!

Elijahs teacher, Mrs. Strevel, with her teacher appreciation gift that we put together, we had all the kids put their hand print on the umbrella, and then bought a bunch of gift cards, and hung them down, we were "showering her with thanks!!"

On Thurs. Elijah's team had the most amazing game, we ended up loosing, but it was so close, and great!!! All the kids played so good, and Elijah had an AWESOME catch in the outfield, he received the game ball. It was sad Nathan couldn't be here to see it, but Greg and Vonnie were so that was special, and they came for a great game

On Friday we went to the house of our 8th president, Andrew Jackson, The Hermtiage, it was AWESOME, and the kids really enjoyed it!!!

Also since Vonnie was here I was ablet to go iwth Isaac on his field trip to the Discovery Center with his class, so that was super fun!!!
Isaac was finding little tadpols, and then he was finding little eggs in the wading pond...

The kids were excited to get ice cream from the icecream truck, since Mimi was here, so that was an extra speical treat for them

The last week Vonnie came to watch the boys play baseball, and Greg joined us latter in the week. It was so nice having an extra set of hand to help out, and cook dinner. We also got flowers to planted in the front, so it looks so nice!!!
