THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and 3 kids each for six weeks.

Each kid will play two sports and either take music or dance classes.

There is no fast food.

Each man must take care of his 3 kids; keep his assigned house clean , correct all homework, and complete science projects, cook, do laundry, and pay a list of 'pretend' bills with not enough money.

In addition, each man will have to budget in money for groceries each week.

Each man must remember the birthdays of all their friends and relatives, and send cards out on time--no emailing .

Each man must also take each child to a doctor's appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment.

He must make one unscheduled and inconvenient visit per child to the Urgent Care.

He must also make cookies or cupcakes for a social function.

Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside and keeping it presentable at all times.

The men will only have access to television when the kids are asleep and all chores are done.

The men must shave their legs , wear makeup daily, adorn himself with jewelry, wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes, keep fingernails polished and eyebrows groomed .

During one of the six weeks , the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches, and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties.

They must attend weekly school meetings, church, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.

They will need to read a book to the kids each night and in the morning, feed them, dress them , brush their teeth and comb their hair by 7:00 am.

A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information: each child's birthday, height, weight, shoe size, clothes size and doctor's name.

Also the child's weight at birth, length, time of birth, and length of labor, each child's favorite color, middle name, favorite snack, favorite song, favorite drink, favorite toy, biggest fear and what they want to be when they grow up.

The kids vote them off the island based on performance.

The last man wins only if... he still has enough energy to be intimate with his spouse at a moment's notice.

If the last man does win, he can play the game over and over and over again for the next 18-25 years eventually earning the right To be called Mother!

Isaac my hero!!!

I don't usually write stories on the blog but I thought this was blog worthy, I guess....So on Sunday I was downstairs in the kitchen, and I saw a mouse, of course I screamed, and my little men come running to see what happened, I tell them and they are like cool....well more Isaac then Elijah....I try to set the snap traps, and can't figure it out, I cant' get it to stick, and it snapped on the edge of my finger so I am like forget it. As I am getting ready to go to the store, I go to get my shoes on, and yes there is the mouse and it just CRAWLED RAN whatever across my feet!!!!!!!! So I go to the store and buy 2 traps that the mouse will just crawl into and I won't see it, and poison...well when I finally talk to Nathan about this, I am upset and distraught to say the least...he is like don't do poison....so I am like fine I will return it. So I am feeling all good, and relaxed, and the kids are in bed, and I see something running under the entertainment center upstairs, and I am like no it can't be, it must of been a cricket or grasshopper, oh but no...as I look I see 2 tiny eyes looking at me, and its a MOUSE!!!! oh I am so upset I am in tears, I know not that huge of a deal, but come on ladies how many would deal with this???? I am crying and can't sleep, and I am like that is it, I am getting a cat, I rather the cat kill them and bring these darn things to me then for them to live.
So as I wake up today, I am on a mission to kill a mouse, or mice, because Mom and Dad always say when there is one there is two.....so I go back to the store to return the poison and the lady says "You know what works well are the sticky traps" and I am like really? So it doesn't take much to convince me to buy these, and I lay them all through the house. I tell my mom that is what I bought and she is like " I hear those are horrible because they are still alive when they are on there" and I am like I don't care I just want them OUT!!!!!! So when the boys get home from school I put them in charge, I mean Isaac, (Elijah is not into this at ALL) and I show them where I put all the traps and they need to check them. So Isaac probably checked them every 1/2 hour until we had to leave for football, I am bummin because I haven't' gotten even one yet today....
So we get back from football and I am like "boys before showers you need to check the traps" so we get home and open the back door, and seriously you can hear squealing, its HORRIBLE, yes we got a mouse, and its not dead but its on the sticky trap!!!! I want to DIE!!!!!! Lydia is flipping out because mom is flipping out....I don't know what to do, and Isaac is like I will get it. So I am like OK go in the kitchen and get the rubber gloves, so he does, but he is like what if it bites me? BTW I haven't gone into the house, I make Elijah go through the front and take Lydia upstairs, and he is happy to do so......SO I find a plastic bag and hand it to my 5 yr old and say "do you think you can do this" and he is like yeah....so I call Buddy because I am freakin out, and as Isaac goes to grab the trap the mouse moves, and FREAKS ME OUT, and I scream into the phone, and tell Isaac to wait, hang up on Buddy, and head down the street to my neighbors....So I convince him to come and help me.....once we get to the house, Isaac has it all taken care of, he had his gloves on, and threw it in the bag like it was no big deal!!!
All that to say Isaac is my hero, and I made him go check all the other traps, and tomorrow Buddy is coming to set snap traps because at least the mouse doesn't suffer, and it will just be better!!!
But I am still getting a cat, and Isaac wants to know if he can get something special for helping me out...I think I need to talk to Nathan about giving me some extra cash to get him something super special!!!!
